🚨 If you're involved in a boating accident, what should you do first?
Your first priority should always be the safety of everyone on board.
Once everyone is safe:
1️⃣ Check for injuries
2️⃣ Move to a safe location if possible
3️⃣ Exchange information with the other boaters involved
4️⃣ Document the scene with photos
5️⃣ Contact the appropriate authorities when required
6️⃣ Notify your insurance company as soon as possible
Having a plan before an accident happens can make an already stressful situation much easier to navigate.
