The Insurance Center - Lancaster McAden Willis Smith The Insurance Center’s business dates back to 1926 when CD Lancaster hung a shingle to sell insurance from the Elks Building in New Bern.

Fifty-three years later, in 1983, his son Claude and Rufus McAden merged with Rexford Willis’ agency to form Lancaster McAden Willis & Smith, The Insurance Center. Later, the acquisition

of the Kelso-Wheeler agency meant that it grew from a regional company with a small office on Clarendon Blvd. to where it is today: a 32-employee company with branches in New Bern and Atlantic Beach. Always known regionally as a personal insurance and construction specialist, The Insurance Center has expanded into the entire Southeast region with our Hospitality division.

Stations are located at:
• Tom Doe Memorial Beach Access
• The Les and Sally Moore Public Beach Access
• Circle Regional Beach Access
