Perfect. Keep it.👏 But don’t assume that means you’re completely covered...

Your work policy may be tied to your job, and the amount you have might not actually match what your family would need.

Think of it as a great start, then let’s make sure there aren’t any gaps.

Okay, life insurance for your kids sounds a little uncomfortable. I get it!

But once you understand the why behind it… it actually makes a lot of sense.

You’re putting coverage in place while they’re young and eligible, locking in their rate, and depending on the policy, building cash value they may be able to use later.

It’s one of those things you hope they never need for "that" reason… but can still benefit from down the road.

Not exactly something moms sit around talking about over coffee 😂 but maybe we should.

You guys know I’m an open book. Sometimes probably a little TOO open. 😂

So can we talk about something nobody really wants to talk about? Life insurance.

Because there’s this weird misconception that if you ever need it, you can just… go buy it.

Spoiler alert...You can’t‼️

You have to apply. You have to qualify. And yes, they can tell you no.

And THAT is the part I wish someone told everyone way earlier.

It’s so easy to say, “I’m healthy, I’m young, I’ll deal with it later.”

Until later looks different.🫣

Not trying to be dramatic. Not trying to scare you. This is literally just me telling you what I’d tell one of my girlfriends sitting across from me:

Don’t wait until life gives you a reason to think about it. Let's talk through it now.❤️

Figure out what you qualify for while it’s still just a boring thing on your to-do list.

And pleaseeee ask me the questions you think are dumb or awkward.😂
Those are usually the ones we should be talking about anyway.
