Chapter 918 has 46 members. We have sent care packages to Veterans serving overseas, sent gifts and donations to the Mt Vernon Veterans Home at Christmas, participated in honoring Veterans in surrounding communities, and given financial support to Veterans as well. If you know a Veteran serving overseas from within the six counties surrounding Vernon County Missouri , please send us their APO and we will send them a care package. Come join us at our regular meetings at the Elks Lodge at 510 Centennial Blvd, Nevada, Mo., on the second Thursday of every month at 6 pm. Everyone is welcome.
