Please join us in welcoming our new Main Street Nevada Executive Director, Courtney Sisson!

Courtney officially starts today and brings with her a strong background in organizational leadership, financial responsibility, and event planning. We are excited for her leadership and look forward to the vision, energy, and direction she will bring to our community.

Courtney has already hit the ground running by participating in our recent board training with Main Street Iowa and is planning to attend the Main Street America Conference in a few weeks to continue expanding her knowledge and connections.

We are thrilled to have her on board and can't wait to see where she will help take Main Street Nevada next!

Yesterday, I had the chance to conduct a policy review with a long-time customer, and after we went through his coverages, he said, “Wow that was great, I never really understood what all these policies do.” Hearing that never gets old!

One of my favorite parts of this job is sitting down with people in our community, getting to know them, and making sure everything, and everyone, they care about is protected. In a world where AI is taking over everything it is kind of nice to be able to walk into the office and have a face-to-face conversation

We got to sit down and learn all about the great things that are happening at One Heart Equestrian Therapy in Ames today. What an amazing organization. If you are looking for somewhere to volunteer or donate in the local community, I would definitely check them out!
