Missouri did something remarkable in 1984. Voters of every stripe, farmers, teachers, hunters, hikers, parents, grandparents, said yes to a small idea with a big reach: a one-tenth of one percent sales tax to take care of our state parks and the soil and water that feed our farms and our families.

Over forty years later, that idea has saved 194 million tons of soil from Missouri farms. It funds 93 state parks and historic sites. It welcomes 20 million visitors a year. It helps the family farm down the road and the playground at Bennett Spring. And it costs the average Missourian about $20 a year.

This election year, voters get to renew that promise. Amendment 1 keeps Missouri Missouri.

We're the team working to make sure every voter knows about it. Welcome to the campaign.
