Juanita Martin’s Retirement

Our office will close at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, as we honor our longtime friend and coworker, Juanita Martin, on her retirement from McFadden Insurance after 26 years of dedicated service.

Before joining our agency, Juanita worked 27 years at the Goodyear plant in Logan – we were so lucky to have found her! Her loyalty, hard work, and steady presence have meant the world to us. It will be difficult coming to work knowing she’s not here, but we are happy that she can now enjoy more time for herself and her family.

Juanita has more than earned this next chapter, and we have been truly fortunate to have her as part of our team. She has made life easier for all of us, and she will be greatly missed.

It is with deep sadness that I share the news that Ellen Jones passed away yesterday, January 7, 2026.

Ellen was the wife of Sam Jones and the grandmother of Courtney (my wife), who has been an agent here since 2002. Years ago, when we found ourselves short-staffed, Ellen didn’t hesitate to step in and help. What began as “fill-in help” quickly became help we couldn’t imagine being without.

Many of you will remember Ellen as the first person you saw when you walked through our doors—always smiling, always looking stunning, and always ready to help. Those fortunate enough to have known her will understand the unfillable void she leaves in our family and throughout the community.

We are heartbroken, yet incredibly grateful to have had her in our lives—as our grandmother, our co-worker, and our friend. It was nearly impossible to find a photo of Ellen without a friend or family member by her side, so the one I’m sharing is of her with Courtney.

Good Afternoon,

We wanted to inform our clients that Erie Insurance is currently experiencing a widespread system outage that is affecting their billing and payment systems. At this time, we do not have a timeline for when Erie’s systems will be restored, but we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated as more information is shared with us.
Here’s what this means for you:
If you are set up on EFT (automatic payments): Your scheduled payment will be delayed. Once Erie’s systems are back online, the payment will be processed automatically. You do not need to take any action.
If you receive a bill in the mail and are not on EFT: Your billing statement may also be delayed due to the outage.
Additionally, please be on alert for potential scams. If anyone claiming to be from Erie Insurance contacts you during this outage — especially by phone or email — do not share any personal or payment information. Erie representatives are not contacting customers during this time, and any such outreach would be considered fraudulent. We recommend hanging up immediately and deleting suspicious emails.
