Nelsonville-York Band Boosters The Nelsonville -York Band Booster organization is comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to providing financial and physical support to the band.

The Nelsonville -York Band Booster Officers would like to welcome you to “The Pride of the Buckeyes” Nelsonville -York Marching Band! Our band students work hard to make each season a success and have fun doing it. d Booster organization is comprised of volunteers (mostly parents/guardians of band members) who are dedicated to providing financial and physical support to the marching band program. By doing so, it helps to create a nuturing educational environment without the burden of placing a financial strain on the members and their families. The boosters support this effort through coordinating donation opportunities & fundraising activities and volunteering as needed at events. By being an active participant in the band boosters you stay informed of all band activities, meet new people and most importantly, your student sees first hand your support of their interests and endeavors. In addition, the students will also see the importance of involvement and volunteerism. Students not only appreciate it, but LOVE it when their parents get involved in something they love. The foundation of any successful school organization is built with the support and involvement of parents/guardians. The continued success of the Nelsonville - York Band Boosters relies heavily on its volunteers; with your help we can continue to support “The Pride of the Buckeyes” – the director and our present and future musicians. Please accept our invitation to attend one of our monthly meetings to see what the Nelsonville -York Band Boosters are all about.

1) Booster meeting Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 in the band room. Will confirm band camp staff & chaperones, and discuss plans for color guard uniforms & equipment.

2) If you have a kid in the 2026 Marching Buckeyes, please encourage them to join this year's Google Classroom page! Students can check their email for information. Lots of information about band camp, practices, events, and more are posted there throughout the summer.
