NATIONAL MARKET UPDATE

Construction Spending data had a healthy increase for residential construction in March, up to $725.2 billion. Plus, the latest GDP report showed residential construction in Q1 growing at a 10.8% annual rate.

Freddie Mac notes: "The combination of low and stable rates, coupled with an improving economy, is good for homebuyers. It’s also good for homeowners who may have missed prior opportunities to refinance."
