Last year we were fortunate enough to land a contract with a commercial real estate firm that specializes in selling large‑scale chicken house operations across the South. That partnership has taken us deep into rural Louisiana and into some of the most remote agricultural sites you can imagine.
Traveling to these locations and learning the ins and outs of modern poultry operations has been an absolute blast. Long drives through pine country, quiet backroads, and a front‑row look at how these farms really work — it’s turned into one of the most unexpected and enjoyable parts of our year.

BK Drone Services will no longer be offering thermal services. .

Unfortunately, this also means we will no longer be able to provide the free lost pet searches that we have proudly volunteered to the public and local animal rescue organizations over the past two years.
Helping reunite families with their pets has been incredibly rewarding, and we are grateful for the opportunity we had to assist our community during that time.

BK Drone Services will still be offering commercial aerial photography and standard drone services.

We took the rigs out for a laid-back overlanding run through the Kisatchie area with a twist—Ladies Drive, Guys Ride. No hard trails, no mud bogs, just forest roads, scenic stops, good vibes, and Louisiana backcountry views.
From bayou crossings to overlook pull-offs, this run was all about getting outdoors, enjoying the ride, and showing that overlanding isn’t about ego—it’s about the experience.

Big win for ethical recovery in Louisiana. 🦌🚁

We appreciate Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries for updating the rules with clear, specific language around the use of drones (including thermal) for recovering mortally wounded deer.

As technology evolves fast, it’s important that regulations evolve too — in a way that protects fair chase, respects landowner rights, and still allows tools that help hunters recover game humanely and reduce wasted animals.
