Big news today: Cigna is exiting the marketplace for 2027 but everything is staying the same for the duration of 2026.

People that are currently on Cigna will be notified soon, if not already.

There are plenty of other options so there’s no need to worry. Shifts like this happen from time to time.

Please tag me in somebody’s post if they’re talking about this and they’re unsure of what to do. It’s free to chat with me and I can help them get with another company next year (or now, if it makes sense).

This has NOTHING to do with medicare, just the marketplace side of things. Plus, on the medicare side, they are back to HealthSpring instead of Cigna.

This one is special to me. I decided on expanding my billboards for ‘26 and put one in my hometown Joelton, Tennessee at the top of the hill.

I grew up a few miles from here in a little duplex full of love with my sweet mother from Kindergarten until I went off to UT Knoxville. I used to play in the creek at the bottom of this hill as a little kid and teenager.

Fast forward to now and I’ve been running my own insurance business for over a decade now. It’s crazy how life works out when you put in the work. Just thankful that God put me in the right spot at the right time 🙏🏼❤️

Middle Tennessee Medicare Advantage Folks

If you have the Cigna PPO True Choice MAPD, they are discontinuing that plan at the end of 2025 and you HAVE to make a change for 2026 or you won’t have a plan.

Same goes for United Healthcare TN-0001 PPO (H2577-007) and also their TN-0005 HMO-POS (H5253-083) plan. You HAVE to make a change for next year.

There are 30 Middle Tennessee counties affected by this change. I’ll post the county list below in the comments.
