Hey friends! I'm SO excited about this, I had to make a video about it! Congress actually DID something! Amazing! This practice of the credit bureaus of selling our client's information (called trigger leads) has plagued out industry for YEARS! The Mortgage Broker's have been trying to get it stopped, and we were close a few years ago, but there was a congressman who was "friendly" with the bureaus and it got squashed in committee. But we didn't stop fighting, and the Bill passed the House, and two days ago passed the Senate! UNANIMOUSLY! All that's left is for the President to sign it, and why wouldn't he?
