This guy had his first eye exam yesterday (totally paid for by insurance ❤️ !).

As a mom I was so excited to hear he had the healthiest eyes she had seen all day! As someone that knows prevention is the best cure, I was encouraged that the near sightedness that is so prevalent with all the COVID screen time, is preventable by an hour of outside play everyday!

Spending time outside has countless health benefits, our eyes are not one I’d previously heard of! So let’s all go play outside after work!

Had a great afternoon with Allegra Marketing Print Mail (350 Wilson Pike Cir, Brentwood, TN). We were able to see some of the great things they can do for your business. Printing of all kinds, in house, but also any kind of product you’d like your logo, brand or name on! We are ordering some fun things for an event we have in December and are going to have them do a lot of the printing we have ordered online in the past.

Attention: Realtors and small business owners…we are in the throes of open enrollment but are taking time out to bring you lunch n learns (or business in briefs…or snack breaks) because we know from helping thousands of clients, how under served (and often un-insured) you are when it comes to health insurance.

I know, believe me I know, how much you don’t want to hear about or talk about insurance. None of us do! It’s not fun! We can all think of a million things we would rather talk about or spend our money on, but it is important! We have witnessed story after story of people that are thankful they had health insurance when they needed it. The wife that lost her husband but thankfully a well designed plan sent her a check after such a heart breaking loss rather than endless bills. The small business owner that saved $1400/month and gave her employees better coverage and one of my very favorites is our owners story of why he started a health insurance brokerage…he lost his dad at a young age and because their health insurance agent had set the family up well in case just such a thing were to happen and then walked with them through the tragic loss, their lives were changed but finances weren’t an additional hurdle they had to deal with.

Health insurance is protection against what we hope never happens. It gives us peace of mind. It protects our finances, investments and most importantly our loved ones when the unimaginable actually happens to us. We all think it will never happen to us, but, statistically, it will eventually happen TO US!

This Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce
ribbon cutting brought tears to my eyes. An amazing organization that’s been serving the community for 35 years! They outgrew their space and can now help even more women, families and babies. Through loving on people that find themselves in situations they aren’t prepared for, they have saved 10,000 babies!! You walk in and can feel that they exist to love and serve. They are there in a moment of need and stay to help!

If you are looking for a worthy place to volunteer or donate, this is a great place to do either. Everything they provide is free to their clients!

On this Veterans Day, we would like to give thanks to all who served and especially those that gave their all! The Tunnels to Towers organization is an amazing organization that steps in to help the families that lost their loved one while they were defending our freedom. T2T pays off the family’s mortgage, or buys them a house free and clear or builds smart homes for those members that survived but come home never able to live the life they planned.

The founder takes no money. They’ve built 90 smart homes and last year paid off 200 mortgages! Most of that money comes from people contributing $11/month! (You can donate any way you choose, $11/month ($132/year) is simple and affordable for everyone and 11 helps us never forget those that lay it all down every single day).
