✨ Investing in the next generation starts with education!

We had such a great time at the Career Exploration Fair, connecting with high school students and helping them explore what a future in financial services can look like!

From our 3 Rules of Money to our Financial Fact vs. Myth game, we got to challenge their thinking, test their financial knowledge, and start conversations about things that so many people aren't taught until adulthood. 💰

But it wasn't just about money — it was also about showing them that there are career paths beyond the traditional 9–5. We shared what it looks like to build an independent business in financial services, create flexibility, and make a meaningful impact in people's lives.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is knowing that financial education can change the trajectory of someone's future, and it starts with conversations like these. 🌱

Thankful to do this alongside an amazing friend and business partner! 🤍

Tomorrow, I’ll be participating in a Career Exploration Fair for high school students, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🙌🏻

One of the things I’m most passionate about through Clarity Financial Co. is helping people understand money, build financial confidence, and learn things that so many of us were never taught in school.

But tomorrow is about more than just financial literacy. It’s also about showing the next generation what a career in financial services can look like.

As a mom, one of the biggest things on my heart is making sure the children I love have every opportunity to grow, thrive, and have a strong foundation for their future. And part of that is having conversations about money that most families don’t even realize they should be having.

When we think about life insurance, we typically think about protecting adults and replacing income. But have you ever considered why a parent might choose to insure their child?

Here are a few things worth understanding. 👇🏼

✨ Insurability matters. Depending on the policy and underwriting requirements, securing coverage while a child is young and healthy may help protect their ability to obtain coverage in the future, even if their health changes later.

✨ Time can be powerful. Certain permanent life insurance policies can build cash value over time. Depending on the policy, that value may eventually provide financial flexibility for future needs like education, a first home, or starting a business.

✨ It's about more than today. The right policy may provide lifelong protection and create a financial tool that can grow with your child. But not every policy works the same, and costs, benefits, and guarantees vary.

One of the things I've come to appreciate most isn't a number in my bank account. It's the ability to slow down. 🤍

It's the slow mornings with my kids.
The days when we don't have to rush out the door.
The flexibility to put my family first when that's what the day calls for.
The freedom to work when I want, how often I want, and build something around the life I actually want to live.

And here's something I wish more people understood about money…

Financial freedom isn't just about how much you make. It's about what your money allows you to do with your life.

That's why financial education matters so much to me. It's not just about budgeting, saving, investing, or planning for retirement. It's about understanding your options so you can make intentional decisions with your money and create more choices for your future.

Because wealth isn't always a bigger house, a nicer car, or a bigger paycheck.

Sometimes, wealth looks like a slow morning with your babies and the freedom to enjoy it without feeling like you should be somewhere else. ☀️

💰 Things They Don’t Teach You About Money: Your Income Isn’t Really Your Income.

You might look at your salary and think, “I make $60,000 a year.”

But you don’t actually get to spend $60,000.

Before that money ever reaches your bank account, a portion can go toward federal taxes, Social Security, Medicare, state taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and more.

And here’s the important part:

👉 Taxes aren’t just something to think about when you file your return. They’re part of your financial plan.

The goal isn’t to avoid paying taxes. The goal is to understand how taxes can impact the money you earn, save, invest, and eventually use in retirement.

Because making more money doesn’t automatically mean keeping more money.

That’s why understanding things like tax diversification, taxable vs. tax-deferred vs. tax-free accounts, and your future tax bracket matters.

We’re taught to save money… but we’re not always taught to think about what that money will actually be able to buy years from now.

Inflation is one of the quietest ways your purchasing power can disappear.

That’s why financial planning isn’t just about asking, “How much money do I have?”

It’s also asking:

👉 Will it keep up with inflation?
👉 What will taxes do to it?
👉 How much will I actually need in retirement?
👉 Is my money positioned for growth AND protection?

You don’t have to be a financial expert. You just need to understand what your money is doing and why.

I'm starting a financial education series and am going to be highlighting "the things they don’t teach you about money"… 📚💰

What REALLY happens when your investments lose money?

Let’s say you have $100,000 invested and the market drops 30%.

You’re now at $70,000.

But here’s the part many people never learn: you don’t need a 30% gain to get back to $100,000.

You actually need a 42.9% gain just to break even. 🤯

That’s because the percentage loss is calculated from $100,000, while your recovery is calculated from the lower $70,000 balance.

So the question becomes: Is there a way to participate in market growth while building in a level of protection against market losses?

That’s where indexed accounts can enter the conversation.

I almost forgot… this was the whole point. 🤍

September has been a hard month. I’ll be honest - I haven’t felt like myself, and I’ve been battling chronic fatigue. There were mornings I woke up thinking, “How do I keep going?”

So I slowed down. I rested. I prioritized my health and gave myself permission to step back.

And God reminded me why I built this business in the first place.

I worked very few hours this month, yet I still had a really good month financially and so many wins to celebrate. 🙌🏼

I’ve been able to homeschool my kids, take care of myself, and we already have 3 vacations planned in the next year.

This business isn't easy. It isn't overnight. But it has given me something I prayed for: flexibility to build a life around what matters most.

My family. My health. My faith. Our memories.

Sometimes God has to slow us down so we can see the blessings that are already right in front of us.

This was the whole point. 🤍

A question I get often is: “How does your business work? Are you part of a bigger company?”

The easiest way I explain it is to think about real estate. 🏡

A real estate professional can build their own team or agency, create their own brand, and serve their own clients — while still operating under a larger brokerage that provides the platform, infrastructure, and resources behind the scenes.

Clarity Financial Co. works in a similar way.

I am building Clarity Financial Co. as my own financial services business within a larger organization.

That larger platform gives me access to financial products and resources from multiple companies, rather than being limited to representing just one company.

So think of it like this:
