Maybe I wasn’t built for this business… but this business was made for me. 🤍

When I first got started, I had ZERO background in finance. I wasn’t an accountant. I wasn’t a financial advisor. I didn’t grow up knowing the ins and outs of money and investing.

But I saw the vision.
I understood the business model.
I understood the mission.

And most importantly, I saw how it could fit into the life I was already building.

I was looking for something that would challenge me, allow me to grow, give me flexibility, create impact, and give me the opportunity to build something of my own.

And somehow, I found a business that checked every box.

I think sometimes we convince ourselves we need to have the perfect background, the perfect experience, or all the answers before we start.

You don't.

Sometimes you just need to recognize an opportunity that fits the vision you already have for your life and be willing to learn along the way.

I didn't start because I knew everything.

I started because I was willing to see what was possible. And I'm so glad I did. ✨

One of the biggest conversations I have with clients is this:

One minute you’re proud of how far you’ve come… Then you open social media and see someone with:
📈 More followers
💰 Bigger numbers
🤝 More clients
🏆 Bigger accomplishments
And suddenly you’re questioning everything you’ve built.

But here’s your reminder:
Their success does NOT mean you’re failing. You’re seeing their highlight reel while living through your behind-the-scenes.

Their timeline isn’t your timeline.
Their strategy isn’t your strategy.
Their calling isn’t your calling.
And most importantly—God did not give you their assignment. He gave you yours.

Stop measuring your business by someone else’s scoreboard.
Keep building.
Keep learning.
Keep serving.
Keep planting seeds.

Some seasons are for growth you can see. Other seasons are for roots you can’t. 🌱

Supporting a small/local business can as simple as a follow, like, comment, share, or inviting a friend to follow a page.

A LOT of the growth on my Clarity Financial Co. page has come from people who were simply willing to take a few seconds to help me out. And because of that, I’ve been able to connect with and help people I may have never reached otherwise. 🙏🏼

That’s the power of people being KIND and willing to support one another. You truly never know who might need what a local business has to offer.

I've been praying over my business. 🙏🏼

And honestly, my prayer hasn't been, “God, make me more money.”

My prayer has been, “God, lead me to the right people. Put people in my path who need what I do, who are open to learning, and who can truly see the value in it. Give me opportunities to serve and help others.”

And time and time again, I've watched God open doors, connect me with the right people, and put opportunities in front of me that I never could have planned on my own.

That doesn't mean every day is easy. It doesn't mean every opportunity turns into a client or every prayer is answered exactly how I imagined.

But I've learned that when I stop focusing so much on the result and start focusing on being obedient, serving people, and trusting God with the outcome, things start to look a whole lot different. ❤️

If you're building a business and you're frustrated because you're not seeing the results you want, maybe it's time to try something different.

Pray over your business. Pray over your purpose. Pray for the people you're meant to serve. And then be willing to follow where God leads you.

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

I don't want to simply build a successful business. I want to build something that helps people.

It's so bittersweet to be in the position that I have worked so hard for. It wasn't easy and there were days where I felt like I couldn't do it anymore.

I have somehow learned how to balance it all. Through trial and error, being overwhelmed, and getting distracted left and right, I have learned how to be intentional with my time and give my attention to my children, my husband, my faith , my fitness, my finances AND my business. It's truly incredible what I've built while raising kids and I'm proud to say that.
