I would like to personally thank everyone who took time in their busy schedule to wish me a happy 70th Birthday. It was a very special day celebrating also with a special friend who was having a birthday also. The evening ended with a great dinner and all of us reminiscing the past years that we have shared together.

The role of a licensed public adjuster.

Public adjusters have to meet a variety of requirements to practice this profession, which can vary by state. These include obtaining a license, credential verification, fingerprinting, and more. As an adjuster, you must obtain a bond, renew your license every two years, and complete 24 continuing education credits every two years. Additionally, public adjusters have limited hours and days when they are allowed to contact clients or potential clients.

In contrast to other contractors don't seem to have nearly as many requirements. Many people may not fully understand the role of a public adjuster (PA). PAs don't ask for a deposit, and the commission they charge is regulated by the state. Moreover, if the client doesn't get paid, neither does the PA. It's often said that insurance companies dislike PAs. I've heard of cases where clients were threatened by insurance companies with policy cancellation if they hired a PA, which goes against the laws and regulations of the industry. Ultimately, everyone should judge and come to their own.
