I migrated from New York in 2000 where I was involved in real estate in the 90s fixing and flipping houses. I bought Gingerbay Cafe, a Caribbean-inspired club that came with a restaurant. Although no experience in the restaurant business I quickly adapted and turned Gingerbay into a successful restaurant / nightclub. I poured my heart and soul into Gingerbay Cafe, overseeing every aspect of the operation from menu planning to staff management. After over a decade of running Gingerbay Cafe, I began to feel the weight of long hours and the constant demands of the hospitality industry. I yearned for a slower pace, one that would allow me to pursue other interests and spend more time with my family. The year 2023, I made the difficult decision to sell Gingerbay Cafe and ebarked on an old but familiar adventure, real estate investing. However, my entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen craved new challenges. This led to the focus on Nomijo Enterprises, a multi-faceted company launched in 2018 now encompassing not only real estate, but also E-commerce, and online marketing.
