We lost a legend today. When I got Jack from the Humane Society Naples they said he would never be a lovable dog. He was so abused and left in a cage for who knows how long with no food or water. Somehow he survived in Alabama when so many other of the dogs there that were abandoned died. He had no trust in humanity and it took a long time to gain his trust.

He was skiddish and anxious for 3-4 months when I got him Jan. 1st 2020. They told me he was about 5 years old when I got him - he was probably 10. But guess what!!!! He loved his life and loved his best freind Lacy. He was 5 years old at heart and got a new chance at life with a caring household and any types of leftovers he wanted.

He loved to cuddle and he loved to run around like a crazy person making a mess and pi***ng all over the house!! It was totally worth it and I would never take back my decision. The 2 years I had with him were so fu***ng awesome and he is a LEGEND.

The day my first real dog ever Katy died I was so distraught I went immediately after to pick up a dog to help calm me and keep me grounded.

Jacks life was full. He loved catching lizard tails and barking at squirrels and running around all day in his own world.

I understand we have all lost a lot and our community is suffering and people have died. Well, if you say my post is shallow because of the devastation around here - it may be. I won’t argue. But this dog was the fu***ng man and lived his life the way that all of us should. One day at a time. One meal at a time. Caring about the people he loved.

Come to find out he has had lung cancer for over a year and who would have known because this guy loved his life to the fullest.

Everyone should live their life to the fullest you never know when your last day will be.

10 IPA’s deep and many tears later he is resting peacefully in my back yard resting 4 feet deep and under a gravestone.

Raise a beer. Raise a wine. Raise a big fat joint to my dog Jack the legend of the anxious and the KING of the skiddish.

See you when I leave this world my man.

We will be delivering to Everglades City, Naples, Bonita Springs, Pine Island and anywhere in Fort Myers that is currently accessible by vehicle
