The FIFA World Cup brings joy to millions of people.
Mbanq’s flagship office is in Seattle, however, our football home is in Bradford, England.
With Mbanq’s name on the Bradford City AFC shirt, our support for an English football club might not seem the obvious choice for a banking infrastructure company. We chose Bradford because of what the club represents: community, loyalty and long-term ambition.

In the financial world, payday is one of the last major systems that still runs on a fixed schedule.

Think about it.

Yesterday’s FA Cup Final at Wembley brought together two of the biggest clubs in world football.

Yet one of the most memorable moments of the day came from City AFC.

Ahead of the 2026/27 season, Bradford City unveiled its new home shirt, featuring Mbanq as back-of-shirt partner, in front of 90,000 people at the national stadium.

The reveal featured “Bantam of the Opera,” a supporter choir formed during Bradford’s UK City of Culture year, performing alongside the Band of the Household Cavalry before the FA Cup Final.

It was creative, distinctive and completely true to the club.

That is exactly what drew us to Bradford City in the first place.

“There is a real connection between Bradford City and the community around it,” says Vlad Lounegov, CEO of Mbanq. “You can see it in the supporters, in the culture around the club and in the confidence to do things differently. We are proud to see Mbanq on the shirt as part of the club’s next chapter.”

This is for students, early-career candidates, or people considering a move into fintech. People who are energetic, curious, proactive, and comfortable figuring things out as they go.

You don’t need one specific background. Interns are placed across teams including:
