A robotics company we've, Veedor Holdings LLC, followed and written about for a few years, Unitree Robotics, made it's IPO debut in Shanghai yesterday. We've written/posted extensively about their lead in humanoid robotics relative to US rivals. Unitree Robotics shares closed over 460% higher Wednesday as the Chinese humanoid robot maker made its stock market debut in Shanghai.
Shares had jumped nearly 630% before paring gains to close at 845 yuan. The Hangzhou-based robot maker, whose backflipping and dancing machines have drawn global attention, raised about 6.1 billion yuan ($905 million) in its IPO, according to its prospectus.
