If you are a first-time homebuyer and work in an eligible profession, you may qualify for down payment and closing cost assistance of up to 5% of your loan amount — up to $35,000. That can make a huge difference when it comes to getting into a home with less cash out of pocket.

🌞 Family Hack of the Week 🌞
Homemade Granola Bars for Summer Adventures!

Planning a beach day or hitting the road with the fam? Skip the gas station snacks—these homemade granola bars are your new grab-and-go lifesavers!

🍯 Here’s how to make them:

1. Toast the dry ingredients:
• Preheat oven to 350°F
• Butter an 8x12-inch dish & line with parchment
• On a sheet pan, combine:
✔️ 2 cups old-fashioned oats
✔️ 1 cup sliced almonds
✔️ 1 cup shredded coconut
• Bake for 10–12 mins, stirring occasionally
• Transfer to a large bowl & stir in ½ cup toasted wheat germ

2. Make the sticky goodness:
• Reduce oven to 300°F
• In a small saucepan, bring to a boil:
✔️ 3 tbsp unsalted butter
✔️ ⅔ cup honey
✔️ ¼ cup brown sugar
✔️ 1½ tsp vanilla
✔️ ¼ tsp kosher salt
• Stir for 1 min, then pour over oat mixture

3. Add fruit & bake:
• Stir in ½ cup each:
✔️ Chopped dates
✔️ Dried apricots
✔️ Dried cranberries
• Press into the prepared pan
• Bake 25–30 mins (until golden)
• Cool 2–3 hours, then slice into bars

🍴 Pro tip: Wrap them individually for easy snacking all summer long!

Looking for a fun and easy way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? These Soda Bread Biscuits from the Food Network are a must-try—perfect with your morning coffee or as a festive treat! ☕✨

Here’s how to make them:
🥣 Mix 2 cups flour, 2 tsp sugar, 3/4 tsp each of baking soda & kosher salt.
🧈 Work in 2 tbsp diced cold butter.
🍇 Add 1/2 cup raisins & 1 tbsp caraway seeds.
🥛 Stir in 3/4 cup buttermilk.
🌀 Pat dough to 1-inch thick, cut into rounds, & bake at 375°F for 15-20 mins.
