What does your January look like compared to someone's in Ohio right now?

That's the question I keep thinking about when I talk to people who are seriously considering a move to Southwest Florida, especially those coming from the Northeast or Midwest, where winter isn't a season so much as a sentence.

Naples is different in a way that's hard to explain until you're here. 🌊

Pristine beaches. Over 90 golf courses. A cost of living that actually works in your favor when you factor in Florida's zero state income tax. People move here and genuinely wonder why they waited so long.

What I try to do isn't just help someone find a house, it's help them understand what this move means for their life. The right neighborhood. The right timing. The right plan so nothing gets missed in the process.

A relocation is a big decision, and it deserves more than a quick MLS search and a handshake.

Someone told me recently they've been "thinking about Naples" for three years.

Three years of Ohio winters. Three years of paying state income tax. Three years of almost.

I hear this more than people realize. The move makes sense on paper, Florida has no state income tax, the weather is genuinely different, the lifestyle here is hard to explain until you're living it, but the thinking goes on and on while the calendar keeps moving. 🌊

The part that usually stalls people isn't the destination. It's not knowing how to think through the actual transition. What neighborhood fits your life, not just your budget. What the timing looks like when you have a home to sell first. What questions to ask before you're deep into a process you didn't fully understand going in.

That's where I try to be useful, before someone is ready to move, not just when they are.
