In 1963 First American Title was founded by Lyle Axel as an agent of Stewart Title. In 1966 the company changed its name to First American Title Company of Napa, Ivan Harzell joined the com

pany 2 years later followed by his daughter Andrea Shrader who started as an escrow officer in 1984. Hartzell's retirement in 1997 Andrea assumed the reigns as president. Andrea Shrader is succeded as president by Larry Frattini, a Napa native that has been with the company for 38 years. The newest member to our company is Jonny Karpuk, Chief Operating Officer, who is also Andrea Shrader's nephew and Ivan Hartzell's grandson. With our experienced Title and Escrow employees of mostly Napa Valley Residents, and the only In-House Title department in the area First American Title Company of Napa has the edge needed in the sophisticated industry of real estate.
