🥎 Judith Montoya & Jakson Ortiz ⚾

Judith is a sophomore third baseman for the Lady Eagles. She is an all around athlete. She had 8 defensive plays last week against Broaddus that made a huge contribution to a district win. She is an awesome teammate who always has a smile on her face. Congrats Judith! 🎉🎉

Jakson is a sophomore shortstop for the Eagles. He had a .800 batting average this week along with 3 runs, 1 RBI, 2B, 1BB, 3 HBP. He is a great kid who works hard and will do everything you ask him to do. He is a leader by setting a great example daily! Congrats Jakson! 🎉🎉

🥎 Lilly Riggins & Brayden Bridges ⚾

Lilly is a junior catcher for the Lady 🦅 Eagles. She's a great kid who always comes to practice with a good attitude. In the game against Colmesneil she went 2 for 3 with 2 line drives to left field. Congrats Lilly! 🎉

Brayden is a junior pitcher/outfielder for the 🦅 Eagles! He had 4 earned runs and he really took one for the team by staying on the mound. He kept the #6 team in the State to 7 runs. He’s quiet by nature but he is a good influence on the team who always does anything that’s asked of him. Congrats Brayden! 🎉

Klaton is a senior guard for the Eagles 🦅. Not only is he a dedicated leader on the court, but he also excels in academics. Klaton is a “Big Voice” who sets the example that there is no “I” in the team. He is a great defender of the standard for Woden ISD Athletics.

Sadie is a junior guard for the Lady Eagles 🦅. To secure the win against Chireno and place them 3rd in district, Sadie hit a buzzer be**er leaving the final score at 42-41. She's not just a winner on the court but also in the classroom as she currently ranks in the top 3 of the junior class. Sadie represents Lady Eagle Basketball 🦅 with grace and dedication.

Judith and Joylett Montoya are Twin Senior Guards for the Lady Eagles 🦅. The sisters have magnificent work ethic believing in the motto “ You Play Like You Practice.” Both are great student athletes on and off the field.
In twinning fashion, they are setting the example to all the team of what a Lady Eagle is all about.

Issac Velasco is a senior point guard for The Eagles 🦅. He is a dedicated Eagle on and off the court. Not only does Isaac set the standard for the team by being a good leader, he also excels in academics as well.

Regan is a Senior Forward for the Lady Eagles. She scored a total of 32 points in her games last week. She is a great leader on the team and one of the top students in her class.

Wade is a Junior Guard for the Eagles. He scored a total of 49 points in his two games last week, 2 of which were from a slam dunk. He is a great leader who always works hard and puts forth a lot of effort for his team.

Congrats to Regan and Wade! 🎉🎉
