PSA: I see a lot of folks in the Myrtle Beach area asking if the roads are clear. Unlike where most of us grew up, that’s not how it works here. We don’t have salt trucks and snow plows in Horry County. So, what happens is, the sun comes out and melts the snow a little and then if the temperature drops back below freezing (which it is going to) and the road looks like snow but it’s really ice.
If you have to go out, get back home before the sun goes down!
