Checked out South Coast Beer Project during their soft opening, and I can already tell this place is going to be a great addition to Carolina Forest.

Created by the family behind Coastal Concepts Hospitality Group, this new brewery brings the same community-focused atmosphere that has made their other locations so successful, but with its own laid-back surf-inspired vibe. Located next to Sneaky Beagle, there are plans for a walking path and dog park connecting the two properties, creating an even more welcoming space for families, friends, and pets to gather.

The outdoor area offers plenty of activities and room to spread out, making it much more than just a brewery. You can tell this project has been years in the making, and the attention to detail shows. It's always exciting to see local businesses continue investing in our community and creating places that bring people together.

Congrats to Surf Dawgs in Surfside on celebrating their second anniversary with an official ribbon cutting through the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce!

Their journey, from starting as a small cart stand to growing into a full-fledged brick-and-mortar restaurant while still serving their dawgs on the road, is a testament to what’s possible when you give back to the community and they support you in return.

Another passed test under my belt 😮‍💨

This may not have been the longest or most difficult test I’ve taken, but it is by far the most impactful to date.

Having passed my , it means quite literally on paper that I qualify to work as an Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative.

But what does this really mean to me? It means I can start having conversations with young families and professionals to have their money work for them in ways their parents never taught them, and set the future generation up for success.
It means I can have conversations with soon-to-be retirees and those already on their ulmate vacation who are worried about how strong their purchasing power will be in a few years.
It means I can help our local business owners build tax advantaged retirement plans for themselves and their employees, because everyone deserves the right to retire by their own means.

And of course it means I’m solidifying my position with New York Life here with my Myrtle Beach community :)
