I always tell myself summer's going to slow down, and it never does. So this is my reminder — to you and to me — to actually get out there this weekend.

The lake, the porch, the backyard, wherever. The good months don't wait around.

These days you can buy just about anything from a screen — including insurance.

And for plenty of things, that works fine. But when something actually goes wrong — a storm, an accident, a loss — you don't want to explain it to a chatbot or sit on hold with a 1-800 number.

You want a real person who knows your name and picks up the phone.

People sometimes think my job ends when the paperwork is signed. It's actually the opposite.

The real work is what happens after — the phone call when something's gone wrong, the follow-up when life changes, the check-in just to make sure what you have still fits where you are.

Anybody can sell you a policy, but I value life long relationships 😊 Whats more valuable than doing life together?

It's Friday, and I've got one piece of advice that has nothing to do with insurance:

Call the person you've been meaning to call. Say yes to the thing you keep putting off. Sit on the porch a little longer than you need to.

There's a moment in this job that never gets old.

It's when someone sits across from me, we finish going through everything, and I can see them visibly relax.

Like a weight just came off their shoulders.

That's what this is really about. Not paperwork. Not checkboxes.

Just the peace of knowing that the people you love most are taken care of — no matter what.

That's why I do this work. Every single day.

My job isn't to sell them something, it's to understand what they've built and make sure it's protected if something goes wrong.
