Meet Alyssa Hayden!

If you’ve called or stopped by our Paducah office, there’s a good chance Alyssa was one of the first people you spoke with. As our Agency Support Representative, she welcomes clients, helps determine what they need, and connects them with the right member of our team.

Alyssa has been with My Insurance since April 2025. What she enjoys most isn’t any particular type of insurance, it’s the people. She loves learning about clients and their interests, building relationships, and helping make the insurance process as simple and stress-free as possible for both customers and agents.

Outside the office, Alyssa and her husband, Hunter, have been married for eight years. Their home is full with three homeschooled children and, in her words, “too many animals.”

When she finds the time, Alyssa enjoys thrift shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family. As an animal lover, she also enjoys caring for the many four-legged members of their household.

Whether she’s greeting someone at the door, answering a call, or helping a client find the right person, Alyssa helps make our Paducah office a welcoming place.

We’re proud to share that our Murray team has been named Keystone’s 2026 Kentucky Partner of the Year!

Keystone is a national network of independent insurance agencies that gives local agencies like ours access to broader resources, carrier relationships, and expertise while allowing us to remain independent and locally focused.

You may notice a familiar name and logo in their announcement. Earlier this month, The Murray Insurance Agency and Insurance of Paducah came together under our new shared name: My Insurance.

New name. Same local team. And now, a pretty exciting honor for that team.

Meet Jason Billington!

For Jason, insurance has always been more than a career. It's a family tradition that now spans four generations.

Jason followed his grandfather, Guy Billington, and his father, Bob Billington, into the insurance business when he joined The Murray Insurance Agency in 1996. Today, he works alongside his son, Jonathan, continuing a family legacy that now reaches its fourth generation.

With 30 years of experience and professional designations including CIC, CRM, CPRM, CPCU, and AFIS, Jason brings extensive knowledge across insurance and risk management. But his approach has always been rooted in something much simpler: knowing the people you serve, understanding what matters to them, and helping them make informed decisions about protecting it.

Jason's connection to the community extends well beyond the agency. Over the years, he has served with numerous local and professional organizations and currently serves on the board of Murray WATCH. He also volunteers as a Special Olympics coach.

A graduate of Murray State University, where he earned both his bachelor's degree and MBA, Jason lives in Kirksey with his wife, Jen. They have three sons and three grandchildren.

The name My Insurance may be new, but the commitment behind it has been passed down for generations.

Meet Chandler Cohoon!

Since joining the agency in 2015, Chandler has built a career that combines her roots in agriculture, her insurance expertise, and her commitment to the people who make our local communities work.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Chandler helps support the people and culture of My Insurance across our offices. She is also a licensed Property & Casualty agent with a particular focus on agriculture and farm insurance. With degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agriculture Science, along with her Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) certification, Chandler brings a deep understanding of the unique risks farmers and agricultural businesses face.

Insurance is also part of Chandler's family story. As the daughter of John Purdom, she represents another generation continuing the agency's long tradition of local service.

Chandler stays involved professionally and in the community through organizations including the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce and Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky.

She lives in Murray with her husband, Devin, and their daughters, Gracen and Greer.

Whether she's supporting our team or helping a local farm protect what generations have worked to build, Chandler brings knowledge of agriculture and a strong connection to the community she serves.

Meet Jonathan Carter!

Since joining the agency in 2018, Jonathan has become an important part of both serving our clients and helping lead My Insurance into the future.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan oversees operations across our offices, while his primary client focus is serving as a Commercial Risk Advisor. He works with business owners and organizations to look beyond simply purchasing insurance, helping them better understand their risks, prepare for what could go wrong, and make informed decisions about protecting what they've built. Jonathan also holds the Professional Risk Consultant (PRC) designation.

For Jonathan, being part of My Insurance is also personal. He has the opportunity to work alongside his dad, Jason, and continue a family legacy of serving this community.

That commitment extends well beyond the office. Jonathan is actively involved with local organizations and causes, including Playhouse in the Park, and volunteers through his church and throughout the community.

Jonathan lives on a small farm with his two children, Landon and Kylee.

Whether he's working with a local business or helping strengthen the agency behind the scenes, Jonathan's focus is the same: helping My Insurance better serve the people and communities we call home.

Meet Diane Lilly!

For more than 35 years, Diane has been a familiar face at our Murray office, helping generations of customers protect the things that keep life moving.

Diane joined the agency in 1990 and became a licensed Personal Lines agent in 1995. Today, she helps clients with coverage for their homes, autos, boats, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and more. One of her favorite parts of the job is continuing to work with longtime customers as their lives change, while also getting to know new clients and helping them find the right coverage.

A graduate of Murray State University, Diane has deep roots in the area and calls Murray home with her family.

And when summer arrives, there's a good chance you'll find her away from the office and out on the lake enjoying one of her favorite pastimes: boating.

After more than three decades, Diane continues to bring the experience, personal attention, and familiar service our customers have come to know.
