Iuka, KY #674 is going out with a bang! Merging soon with Benton, KY #117, this small but generous group made some amazing donations throughout Livingston County! Each one reinforced WoodmenLife's commitment to Community, Family, Fighting Hunger and Patriotism. Way to GO!

Warren, MI #298 created a raffle basket, containing Apple technology gifts and WoodmenLife items for a fundraiser, K9 for Vets. Their raffle basket received the most raffle tickets, raising the most money. This event raised enough money to save one pup from a shelter, have it trained for a veteran in need and supply animal vet care and food for the life of the animal. This program is about animals saving vets and vets saving sheltered animals.

The WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship® application opens November 1. Eligible members who are high school graduates attending a two-year or four-year college, university, or technical school can apply. New scholarships for this year’s program are as follows:
Three scholarships worth $10,000 each
Four scholarships worth $5,000 each
300 scholarships worth $1,000 each

WoodmenLife Chapter 92 representative Dana Dyer presented a new flag to Bright Life Farms. Bright Life Farms is a faith-based, non profit group that provides care for up to 24 men and women, within an environment of love, safety, structure and training for each individual.

Benton, KY #117 is making it happen! Recently they honored a group with 'Lifesaver' awards. Also, sales representative Kacie Slack presented a WoodmenLife Outreach Foundation grant to Generations. This adult day care facility is updating their new location. Awesome job!

WoodmenLife Chapter 92 presented a donation of $250 to the Caldwell County School’s Youth Hope and Cope Center. The Hope and Cope Center assists numerous students in Caldwell County with school supplies throughout the year and their annual Christmas Assistance Program. They also provide meals and entertainment activities for the youth through their annual Summer feeding program and the Summer Blast on Butler Lawn. WoodmenLife Outreach Foundation presented a $5000 grant to Kennett, MO Economic Development to be used in a memorial park on their court square. This was a group effort of WoodmenLife representatives Rick Willis and Van Watkins along with the EDC and local VFW and American Legion veterans.

Another WoodmenLife group effort was a success! A Celebrate Red, White & Blue flag event opened the Music Strikes Back concert to benefit local veterans. Chapters from the region sponsored and volunteered at the event that won Murray, KY #592 Chapter of the Year!
