The Insurance Office Will Be CLOSED this week while I am helping out during Murphysboro Apple Festival 2026.
Access to the office will be very difficult due to the Arts & Crafts setup out in front on 13th Street. I will be keeping an eye on phone messages and email as I can during the week.
I will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, September 14th.
Hope to see you at the 75th Murphysboro Apple Festival!

NOTICE:
I will be undergoing surgery at the very end of June and will be working remotely during my recovery for what is likely to be at least a couple of weeks. I will remain available by email and phone for policy servicing, claims assistance, and account support during this time, though my response times may be slightly delayed. You can leave a message at 618-684-2023 or email me at [email protected] and I will get back with you as soon as I can. I will return to regular office hours as soon as my recovery permits.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions regarding your coverage. Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Kirk

01/29/2026 UPDATE:
I have been working from the office on 13th Street today. If you haven't been out yet, the main roads are fine but the side streets are snow piled on both sides with little to no parking close by. This makes access to the office pretty treacherous at this time. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk in the street to get here because you cannot get to the sidewalks.

Please, please take your time and be very careful if you have to venture out. These conditions will likely not change for weeks until we get a good warming spell that lasts for a few days. In the mean time, the huge piles of snow will be melting a bit during the sunny days and then freezing in puddles at night making walking around the streets quite risky and not a good idea. And walking in the streets is not a good solution anyway.

I am available by phone. If you need anything from me please call and leave a message on the machine. I will be checking things on a regular basis and will respond just as soon as I can. We will figure it out.

Thanks
Kirk
