Just a FYI for those effected

NEW: The Williamson County Emergency Management Agency (WCEMA) is partnering with the Southern Illinois Regional Community Organizations Active in Disaster’s Long Term Recovery Committee to assist families affected by the May 16 tornado.

The committee is working to connect impacted residents with services, materials, or financial aid through community donations. It includes representatives from WCEMA, the Salvation Army, the Lions Club, and the Southern Illinois Community Foundation (SICF).

Anyone affected by the storm is encouraged to apply for assistance. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2025.
