Farm Bureau Insurance is the top insurer for individual life sales in Tennessee, officials reported July 30 at the company’s annual agents conference in Franklin.

Farm Bureau’s life insurance company, traditionally the number one carrier in Tennessee by volume, was bumped from the top spot in 2016, but returned to its dominant position in 2019 according to statistics released by industry analyst A.M. Best Data Services.

“Being number one feels good, and it is a testament to the dedication and persistence of our agency force, as well as the support of our home office professionals," life Chief Operating Officer David Bell said. “We also lead the state in policy count, which means we cover more lives than any other life insurance company in Tennessee.”
