I knew this episode was going to be emotional before we ever hit record.

Crystal Rhodes is a friend, a member of our local community, and someone whose family has been connected to ours for years. Crystal lost her daughter at a very young age, and sitting across from her and talking about that kind of loss was something I knew I needed to approach with a lot of care.

We talked about grief. We talked about what happens to a family after losing a child. We talked about the impact on siblings and the people left behind. And we talked about what it means to keep moving forward while carrying a loss that never really leaves you.

There were some tough moments. There were tears. But there was also love, honesty, strength, and a reminder that someone’s legacy can continue long after they’re gone.

I’m thankful Crystal trusted me enough to share her story.

This is probably one of the most personal episodes of Life.Loans.Legacy. I’ve done, and I hope you’ll take the time to watch it.
