Even if you have Good Credit - you need to know this.
The photo below shows the Before and After effect of using legitimate tools to make big increases to your credit score, and in this case it improved 100 points - which is unusual but wonderful for my clients 😁. If you have good credit and are buying or refinancing a home, please know that increasing your score just 11 - 22 points could save you thousands of dollars in both your interest rate and mortgage insurance. Most loan officers don’t know to check these minor improvements but I have some special tools that show exactly what to do to improve your score. One example was a customer that had a credit card that was close to the high limit. Our software showed that paying the balance down to (ex) $1,258 would improve his score to over 700 - and it did. He was already approved and happy with the rate, but this saved him and his family thousands over the next 5 years of the loan.
So, if you’re in the middle of a loan right now, ask your loan officer to run that report to see if you can save!

Just had a customer in Mississippi that had No Credit Score and was being denied by both FHA and Conventional because they were living rent-free and did not have any non-traditional credit attached to their current residence. After running through a special verification process they are now APPROVED and going to closing! I love giving great news to the people I am allowed to serve!
That's what being a "Loan Strategist" is all about : )
