2024 Baird Charity Golf Scramble

The second ever Baird Charity Golf Scramble recently took place at Cedar Crest Golf Club in the Walter Hill area of Murfreesboro. Presented by the Shea Dugger Group, this tournament came complete with a gorgeous summer morning … the perfect day to blow off work and play a little golf. With over 20 teams participating, this was an amazing time of golf and fellowship.

Connor Shea, who organized the event, shared how thankful he was to the tournament sponsors: Smyrna Ready Mix, Happy's Sports Lounge Zak McAlexander Farm Bureau, Brass Horn Coffee Roasters, Wax Eloquent, Fred Farrer Properties and Brighthouse Financial.

Proceeds from the scramble went to benefit The Jiselle Lauren Foundation, an organization that assists and advocates for the families of children with disabilities. To learn more about this cause, visit www.thejisellelaurenfoundation.org.

Our 2nd time hosting Shred It with Baird was a success! This year, we partnered with The Salvation Army- Murfreesboro to collect non-perishable food items and shred their old documents! We even got the kids involved! Anytime we can give back to our clients and our community is a Win/Win! Thank you to our clients that came, donated, and enjoyed some breakfast with us!

We used our Baird Gives Back hours today to assist at the Murfreesboro Salvation Army. We all broke a sweat reorganizing and stocking the pantry, packing backpacks for homeless, and a good cleaning of the walk-in fridge! The rest of our office will have their turn next week, but thankful for the opportunity to volunteer for a great community partner and share the Baird love!
