More Than Just Football 🏈📚💼
Really proud of these two young men. They may be wearing different uniforms on Friday nights, but they have a lot in common when it comes to where they’re headed.
🔵 Xavier, my nephew, is also balancing football, AP classes, and work. He works part-time at his granddad’s State Farm office helping with marketing and has his sights set on becoming an engineer after his football days are over
🔴 Darren is a junior at Mundelein High School, contributes on special teams, takes AP classes, and works part-time at my State Farm office as a Marketing Specialist. He’s already gaining real-world business experience and has aspirations of pursuing a career in finance.
What makes me proud isn’t just what they do on the football field—it’s watching two young men understand early that ACADEMICS, hard work, character, and preparing for their future matter just as much as athletics.
Different schools. Different jerseys. Same mentality.
Keep working, Xavier & Darren. The future is bright for both of you! 💪🏽📚🏈💼
Student-athletes today. Future professionals tomorrow.
