From Mom Mode to College Mode 🎓❤️

And just like that… she’s off to college. 🥹

There’s something about watching your child load up their car and head off to their next chapter that makes you realize just how quickly the years go by.

New school. New apartment or dorm. New laptop. New responsibilities. And, yes… new student loans. 😅

As a mom and an insurance agent, it also has me thinking about the things we sometimes forget to protect along the way.

💻 Is that new computer properly protected?
🏠 Do you have the right coverage for your belongings at school?
❤️ And what about those new student loans and the people who would be left with them if something unexpected happened?

Life insurance isn’t just something to think about “someday.” Sometimes, starting college is a pretty good reminder that someday is here.

So while I’m trying not to cry every time I look at this picture, I’m also reminding myself that protecting our kids means more than getting them moved in. ❤️

If you’re sending a college student off this year, let’s make sure you’ve got the insurance side of things covered, too.
