Great news on FHA home loans!

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is making a focused effort to evolve FHA loans toward becoming an even better solution for homebuyers.

As part of this initiative, FHA has just announced that they are removing well and septic distance requirements for existing homes. This was an arbitrary guideline that, in some scenarios, made FHA loans more difficult to work with for homes with well water and septic systems.

FHA will now follow the guidelines set by local health departments. This is great news and will allow more homebuyers to take advantage of the great benefits offered by FHA loan.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but everyone pulled together to work through them, and now the Smiths get to spend the rest of their summer enjoying their beautiful new home AND pool!

Meet Zach 👋 Branch Manager and Mortgage Loan Originator at KTL Performance Mortgage in Muncie, and member of the KTL team since 2019.

Zach White is a dad of two high school athletes, hosts a weekly local sports podcast (Sideline IQ) and, you guessed it, can talk sports just about all day! When he's not helping clients achieve their homeownership goals, you'll likely find him on the golf course, attending his sons' sporting events, or spending time with family and friends. ⛳⚾

As Branch Manager of our Muncie office, Zach enjoys helping buyers navigate the home financing process from start to finish. His biggest piece of advice? Get pre-approved before you start house hunting. Knowing your budget and financing options from the beginning helps make the entire process smoother.

It was an honor to help these hardworking ladies achieve homeownership when others told them it couldn't be done. Their determination, patience, and commitment made this day possible, and we couldn't be happier for them.
