With more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry and a degree in business administration, I help individuals, families and business owners create financial strategies rooted in what matters most to them. Whether you’re preparing for retirement, navigating a life transition or building a legacy, I’m here to offer clarity and confidence every step of the way. I work closely with educa

tors and higher-ed professionals, nonprofit leaders and donors, and families and business owners from diverse backgrounds, groups that are often underserved yet deeply committed to making smart financial choices. I also understand the unique needs of multigenerational families and military households, shaped by my own upbringing as the daughter of an Air Force veteran. Outside of my practice, I stay actively involved in the Muncie community. I serve as the Delaware County Women United leader for United Way, sit on the executive leadership team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® and proudly serve on the board of a local nonprofit. My goal is simple: to provide meaningful advice, lifelong partnership and a financial strategy that’s as personal as your goals. Amanda Keith is our branch office administrator and supports the office and clients with all administrative tasks. Amanda will be the first face that greets you as you walk in our branch and the friendly voice that wishes you well on your way out. I believe that if we ask our clients to invest in their future, we should be investing in our own growth as well. 🌳

That’s why I was grateful that Aaron Hammond, CFP® , AAMS™ , and I, Tanya Shaneyfelt, ChFC®, CRPC™, CRPS™, were selected to participate in advanced financial planning education at Edward Jones in St. Louis.

The experience challenged us to think differently, expand our knowledge, and strengthen the way we help clients work toward what matters most to them. It was a powerful reminder that great financial planning is about more than numbers. It’s about people, relationships, and helping individuals and families achieve their goals with confidence.

A special highlight was hearing from Penny Pennington, Managing Partner of Edward Jones. Her message about leadership, service, and the impact we can have on others was truly inspiring.

I’m thankful for opportunities like this that allow us to keep learning, growing, and bringing even greater value to the clients and community we are privileged to serve.

Always learning. Always growing. Always serving. 💛🩶

Higher Treasury yields weighed on equities last week, renewing concerns about whether the economy and markets can withstand elevated rates. Despite the potential for seasonal volatility, resilient economic activity and strong corporate earnings support a constructive backdrop for equities.

Investment Strategist Brock Weimer explains what’s behind the move higher in long-term yields in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.

Inflation has trended lower, supporting the case for the Federal Reserve to keep policy rates steady. While the path back to the Fed's inflation target may not be perfectly smooth, strong earnings, healthy economic growth and resilient consumer spending continue to help support market strength.

Portfolio Strategist Tom Larm shares his perspective on the forces influencing markets and what it could mean for investors in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.

Today, I had the opportunity to serve my community in a little different way and my heart is so full.

Alongside 25+ incredible volunteers, I helped distribute food to families in our community, including so many who have been impacted by the recent flooding.

Seeing people receive immediate help when they needed it most was truly heartwarming. We served more than 300 cars, and who knows how many more families we could have reached if we hadn’t had to cut off time.

By the end of the day, I was absolutely drenched from head to toe 🌧️ but honestly, it was worth every drop to know we were able to help people get what they needed.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, do it! Check with your local food banks and community organizations. There is always a need, and sometimes the smallest gift of your time can make a really big difference in someone’s day.

So grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another. This is what community looks like. 🫶

The S&P 500 reached new highs as several key market headwinds began to ease. While record levels can make investors hesitant, history suggests that all-time highs have often been followed by continued gains, with long-term returns comparable to, or even better than, investing on a typical trading day.*

Angelo Kourkafas, Sr. Global Investment Strategist, shares his perspective on the forces driving markets higher and the implications for investors in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.
