Have you scheduled your mammogram this year?

When it comes to breast cancer, early detection matters. Regular screenings can help you stay proactive about your health, while cancer insurance can help you prepare for the financial challenges that may follow a covered diagnosis.

Our community partner, American Cancer Society, recommends:
• Women ages 40–44 can choose to begin annual screenings.
• Women ages 45–54 should be screened every year.
• Women 55 and older can switch to screening every two years or continue annually.

Screenings should continue as long as overall health is good and life expectancy is 10+ years. All women should be familiar with the known benefits, limitations, and potential harms linked to breast cancer screening.
