📢 Big News for Homebuyers! 🏡

The FHA just made it easier for borrowers to use rental income from boarders to qualify for an FHA-insured mortgage. Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Acceptable income verification now includes bank statements, canceled checks, and deposit slips.
✅ Rental income from boarders is allowed even if you’re renting or already a homeowner.
✅ You only need a 12-month rental history (down from 2 years).
✅ Rental income can’t exceed 30% of your total monthly income.

These changes will help more first-time and low-to-moderate-income buyers make homeownership a reality. The new guidelines are effective for FHA case numbers after March 14, 2025.
