🚗 Teen drivers = a whole new level of parenting! 😅

From the first time they get behind the wheel to their first solo drive, there’s a lot to think about, and making sure they’re properly insured is one of them.

A few good reminders for parents of teen drivers:

✔️ Add your teen to your auto policy when appropriate
✔️ Talk about safe driving habits and distracted driving
✔️ Ask about available discounts for good students or driver education
✔️ Make sure your coverage fits your family’s needs

Because we can’t always ride in the passenger seat… but we can help make sure they’re protected. ❤️

There’s just something about county fair season… the lights, the food, the rides, the animals, the memories, and seeing the community come together. ❤️

The Western Idaho Fair starts THIS FRIDAY, August 21st and runs through August 30th! 🎉

Beyond the funnel cakes and carnival rides, the fair is a pretty amazing reminder of the hard work, dedication, responsibility, and love for agriculture that goes into making our communities what they are.

From the kids showing their animals to the families who spend countless hours preparing, there’s so much to celebrate! 🌾🐖🐄

Late summer in Idaho is too beautiful to stay inside! 🌲☀️ As you’re out enjoying the trails and exploring everything our great state has to offer, take a few extra moments to help keep our public lands clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

As our kids head back to the classroom, let’s all do our part to keep them safe.

🛑 Slow down in school zones.
🚌 Watch for stopped school buses.
🚶 Be extra alert for children walking or riding bikes.
📵 Put the phone down and stay focused on the road.

Park Smart. Help Prevent Wildfires. 🔥🚗

When you’re enjoying Idaho’s great outdoors:

✔️ Park on pavement, gravel, or designated parking areas whenever possible.

❌ Avoid parking over tall, dry grass or vegetation.

A simple choice can make a big difference in protecting our communities, forests, and wildlife. Let’s all do our part to help prevent wildfires this season. ❤️🌲

We were honored to present the JustServe City Award to the City of Mountain Home Idaho during the America 250 celebration on July 4, 2026. Mayor Sykes accepted the award on behalf of the city in recognition of Mountain Home's outstanding commitment to volunteerism and community service.
