I found out this morning that I have several Clients all in one small town that switched plans without letting me know. This isn't the first time this has happened in this town, and I know exactly why. I'm not going to point fingers. All I'm going to say is before you trust someone that doesn't have an insurance license, doesn't have the training, and only cares about one aspect of the plan that benefits their own business, PLEASE contact me before you do something you will regret later. There's a reason why I sit down with you face to face, go over everything, and explain why the plan you're selecting is the one that meets your all around needs the most. If there is an issue, contact me. Don't get caught up in someone trying to tell you the grass is greener with another plan. Plus, when you redo your plan this way, you lose your local representation. And I guarantee the person who switched you doesn't have the ability to help. This also applies for phone solicitors.

Just FYI for those of you trying to sign up at the new Mtn. Home Aquatic Center using your Silver Sneakers from your health plan... the people doing the sign ups obviously haven't been properly trained yet how to process this. They're telling Clients they need a series of numbers off their plan. Clients are having to call their plans to get the numbers.There's never been any issues with any of the other providers around here. They just take their ID card and process it. So please be patient if they tell you they need this number. Just call the Customer Service number listed on your ID card.

We are happy to announce we have a new short term duration medical policy to sell. You can have coverage for up to 364 days. Underwriting is required. It may be a good alternative for those needing some kind of coverage but missed the election period for the Affordable Care Act. Or maybe you just need something to fill the gap in between jobs or something. The plan even provides coverage just for children in case your employer insurance skyrocketed when you have to add them. Our business is a Disabled Veteran and Retired Law Enforcement owned and operated office. We have support from our local Veteran Service Officers, local Doctor's offices, local pharmacies, other insurance agencies, Clientel, and even some local hospital staff. Some of these places we don't always agree with each other on. But we have earned the respect from them because they know we always have our Customer's best interest at heart. We can not thank those that look past our differences to refer us enough. We stay small to make sure you are not just a number. We feel there's no need for big buildings and fancy expensive tricks to get you to come to us. When you walk in or call, you are greeted by an Agent and not a Secretary. Our office is comfortable and personable. We have nothing to hide. We want to get to know you on a personal level if you wish. If we can't help you, we will explain why. We will even refer you elsewhere if there is someone else that can help you. We try to set the example of a small, locally owned business that tries to put a face with the policy. We are very community oriented, and give back to the community constantly, especially to our school aged children. We can't always make everyone 100% happy. But we will do our best to make sure you're taken care of or explain why we can't. We show everything to you face to face, in black and white. We take the "deer in the headlights" look away after our appointment. This is who we are. This is Vacco Insurance.
