⛳️ Had a great time playing in the Mount Vernon Football Gridiron Club Golf Outing yesterday at Vernon View GC! Shoutout to Coach Weber, his staff, & all of the volunteers that worked to make it happen. Also, kudos to The Phillips Family & staff at Vernon View for their work! With what feels like 30 inches of rain in the past two weeks, the course was pure!

🗣️ I’ll cut to the chase…

This week I had the opportunity to help someone purchase their first home. Their debt-to-income ratio was creating a holdup, and one of the only numbers left that could move the needle was their homeowners insurance premium.

Down to the wire, their realtor reached out to me as a last-ditch effort. I was able to find them a properly covered policy for $600 less than the quotes they had received. Sometimes numbers are just that tight.

🔥 BOOM! Deal closed. Home sold.
Happy buyer. Happy lender. Happy realtor.

Yesterday I spoke with a younger husband and wife who are expecting their first child in June. They knew they needed something, but didn’t know exactly what their options were. We talked through it, applied yesterday afternoon, and the expecting Momma was already approved this morning with a PREFERRED health rating, which drives the premium ⬇️. No bloodwork, no medical interviews.
