After reading this article, I was curious, so I did some calculations on Shelter's rates. In the last 3 months, my client's renewal rate increased on average $16.40/yr per policy. Of those, one had $0 change and another policy decreased by $194. If you're curious, call me and let's see what I can do for you!

The two reasons homeowners cite most often are insurance companies wanting to make more money and the costs of repairing and rebuilding.

For this , we're talking about Ohio's cutest residents - the ones you may see curled up in your backyard around this time of year🦌

You may be asking yourself, "what do I do if I see a baby animal left alone in my yard?" (Great question by the way). Here are some things you need to know:
- Wildlife parents often leave their nest or young in a location they consider safe while they forage or hunt nearby.
- A parent is almost always nearby and will come back as needed to feed and care for them.
- The best thing for you to do is keep your distance (and be proud that your yard feels safe for wildlife!)

By 1979, the bald eagle population had dwindled to just 4 breeding pairs in the entire state of Ohio, so the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) launched a statewide recovery program which has been very successful. Depending on the source of information, there are around 20-27 active bald eagle nests in Knox County alone and nearly 1,000 across the state. We are grateful to our friend Don Epling for sharing this great shot of a mated pair of bald eagles!
