We’re always excited to see new businesses open their doors in the communities we serve! New businesses bring new jobs, new opportunities and continued growth to our local economy — and sometimes, they bring some pretty great food along with them, too!

Our Lake Cumberland Regional President, Doug Parkey, recently attended the ribbon cutting for the new Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken in Monticello. Judging by the long line of customers already waiting to get their hands on that Famous Recipe chicken, Monticello was more than ready to welcome them!

Congratulations to Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken on your opening! We’re glad to see continued growth in the Monticello community and wish you much success in the years ahead.

Some experiences stick with you forever. 🐘🦒🐒

We are so excited for the 3rd grade students at Roundstone Elementary (Roundstone Eagles) who will soon be heading to the zoo — and for some of them, it will be their very first visit!

There’s something special about seeing an animal you’ve only read about in a book or seen on a screen right there in front of you. We hope this trip is filled with lots of learning, plenty of excitement and memories these students will be talking about long after they return to the classroom.

Citizens Bank is proud to play a small part in helping make this experience possible. But the best part for us is knowing that somewhere in this group may be a child seeing a giraffe, elephant or lion for the very first time. ❤️

Have the BEST time at the zoo! We can’t wait to hear all about it!

♻️ SAVE YOUR CANS & HELP LOCAL ANIMALS! 🐾

We’re excited to partner with the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society to give our community an easy way to support the animals in their care!

Our Citizens Bank Somerset branch is now an aluminum can collection site. Instead of tossing those empty cans, save them and drop them off with us! SPCHS will collect the donated cans regularly and turn them into support for their organization. 🐶🐱

It’s a simple way to recycle, help a local organization and make those empty cans count for something good.

📍 Drop off your aluminum cans at our Somerset branch during regular business hours. Start saving those cans! 💚♻️🐾
