McLean County in central Illinois led the nation in total production of corn and soybeans in 2022. Illinois took the top five counties in total corn output. It's with bittersweet news that I announce beginning May 1st I will be moving to another position within Country Financial. Bittersweet because I love my clients, and if I could bring you all with me I would! For 12 years I've served as a Financial Representative and I've loved every single minute of it. As I grew as a Rep, I began to take on additional lines of business, and one of those included Federal Crop Insurance. Since acquiring that piece, I've enjoyed helping our local farmers protect their crops, and most important their livelihood and families. Because of my growth inside that line of business, and the need that still exists here locally for that coverage, I'm moving to a Federal Crop Specialist role.

What does that mean for you? First of all, thank you. You've let me in your homes and trusted me to protect your family and I can't begin to explain how much that means to me. Hopefully over these years I've served you in a way that went above and beyond your expectations. But you're not getting left in the cold! A new rep has already been hired to backfill my spot, and he's local to Mt. Pulaski. The transition will be seamless. The office is currently still shut down due to the continued outbreak, and probably will be until after this transition. Until then, feel free to reach out to me if you need anything.

These are new and exciting times for myself and my family, and thank you again for supporting me during these past 12 years. I hope to see the same support moving forward, and if you know of anyone who could use my help regarding crop insurance, please let me know!

For the protection of your family and mine during this epidemic, my office will be closed to walk-ins the week of March 16th -20th.
