Hey everyone! Ahead of the impending winds/storms that we may experience tonight and this weekend, I just wanted to share a few things:

-COUNTRY Customer Service line is available 24 hours. 1-866-268-6879 (866-COUNTRY)

-Claims can be filed online, over the phone, or via Agent’s office(s).

-Please reach out to me directly if you need anything! (217) 792-3778

-Secure your outdoor personal property items, flip over tables or chairs, etc!

🌳 💨🍃 Regarding tree or limb damage:

-Get a written estimate, and multiple bids is recommended when possible.

-Don’t provide any payment before the work is completed and inspected.

-The policy covers the reasonable and customary cost to remove that part of the tree that is on a covered structure. However, unless the charges are agreed to in advance by COUNTRY, they may be your responsibility.

-Downed trees or limbs in a yard, that are not on a covered structure, are generally not covered by insurance policies.

Recently we were able to work in conjunction with the local schools, Mt. Pulaski Police Department, and Deron Powell State Farm to provide “Stop the Bleed kits” for each classroom.
Providing these kits is just one of the ways Andy Meister-Country Financial was able to give back to our community!
