Planning a road trip? It is important to quickly inspect your vehicle. We have compiled a quick checklist of 10 things to inspect before your trip:
π Check tire pressure and tread.
π Check levels - gas, coolant, oil, windshield wiper, and others.
π Test brakes for noises or vibration.
π Make sure the battery is good.
π Check headlights, brake lights, and signals.
π Look under the car for leaks.
π Ensure that you have all paperwork and insurance and that it is up to date.
π Be sure your electronics are good - car phone charger, gps/navigation, etc.
π Make sure the spare tire and jack are in the car, as well as your roadside safety kit.
π Pack emergency items (jumper cables, charger, flashlight, water)
This may take you 10-30 minutes to check these items, but it could save you many hours of headaches. We hope you found this helpful, and whenever you travel in an area you are not familiar with, always drive with caution! π
