We’re at the book signing today of our good friend Kevin. His story is truly remarkable.
After approximately 45 minutes of resuscitation efforts, six defibrillator shocks, and countless prayers, a normal pulse was finally restored. What followed was an incredible journey of uncertainty, recovery, faith, and ultimately a renewed understanding of what really matters in life.
But this book is about much more than surviving a cardiac arrest.
It is about faith when you don’t understand what God is doing, hope when circumstances give you very little reason to have it, the importance of people who simply show up when you need them, and learning to simplify your life and focus on what truly matters.
One of Kevin’s observations really stayed with me: our time on earth is a non-renewable resource, but the impact we have on other people can continue for generations.
Knowing Kevin and Amy personally makes their testimony even more powerful. Their story is not simply something written on the pages of a book—they lived it.
If you are going through a difficult season, questioning your purpose, wrestling with your faith, or simply need a reminder of how precious life really is, I encourage you to read Kevin’s book.
Sometimes a miracle isn’t simply about being given more life. It is discovering what to do with the life you’ve been given.
