VA Loans: Y’all let’s be real. We live in a military town. It should be considered a privilege to sell your home to a VA eligible buyer!!!

These men and women lay their life on the line so that you can sleep at night. Shouldn’t we provide them a place to do the same?

Military clients are often the most stable and easily qualified buyers we have!!!

It’s time for us to put the stigma that va loans have behind us (you know who you are) . IT’S NOT TRUE!!

I’ve never had a problem with a va loan or a va appraisal.

These folks deserve better from the Real Estate Community!!! They have earned it!!

Stop Freaking Out!!!!! Mortgage Rates did not go up 1/2% yesterday. (Honestly it’s happened over the past 2 months). Mortgage Rates and Fed Rates aren’t the same thing.

With rates on the rise, 7 TRUTHS you need to know about the mortgage industry.

1)Mortgage companies are marketing geniuses. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!!
2) Mortgage companies like to make money, you aren’t getting anything for free and they aren’t doing you any favors.
3) Lenders Credit = you just got a higher rate.
4) Lock then Shop = you just got a higher rate
5) Construction to Perm = you just got a higher rate.
6) 100% financing only applies to VA and USDA loans (they don’t tell you that). If you’re not a veteran or live in the woods, you’re going to need some money.
7) My Favorite: There is no such thing as a First Time Home Buyer Program. There are programs that are better for first time home buyers but anyone is eligible if they fit the parameters.

You’re about to see a lot of crazy marketing techniques to try and get you in the door. Don’t be swayed by catchy gimmicks. Would you rather work with a Mortgage Professional who will be honest and work on your behalf or a social media influencer?
